Core Data Guide

Core Data Guide Written by www.twitch.tv/mrglrglrglrgl Graphic by I401 Iona Latest update: 7/9/2020 Welcome to the Core Data guide.  Today we will be looking at what you should be spending your precious Core Data on. Reading this guide is strongly recommended.  It will inform you what each gear does and WHY it is where it is on the priority chart.  This is important, as the Core Data shop tells you very little about what you are buying, and a lot of this gear is rather niche. Recommended purchase order 1st Oxytorp* > 1st Shell set* > 2nd Oxytorp > 2nd Shell set > 1st Hero Corsair By the time you have purchased all of this, you should be on hardmode maps that drop enough Core Data to buy multiple items per month. Keep buying Shells, Hero Corsairs, and Oxytorps until you’re comfortable, and mix in other gear as appropriate for the ships you own/use. *If you get a really good BB early on, buy your first Shell set before your first Oxytorp. Macrolayer Medley Ship Review

Macrolayer Medley Ship Review Video link: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/591494677   Notes: 1) Sadly, current impressions of Intrepid’s barrage are very poor.  The damage falls well behind high-damage monsters like Sara/Essex/Enty, thanks to the special Helldivers being gimped halfway to hell.  This also makes her very lackluster as an armor breaker, since Armor Break is a very weak debuff that’s basically only good if you’re getting it for free. The barrage is still decent, her survival skills are relevant, she has great ASC contribution, and some of the most dangerous ch12/13 enemies are BBs/BCs, so Intrepid’s still a good ship. She’s just... not as good as she had potential to be. The barrage plane’s stats have been datamined.  Total barrage bomb load is 3x2000lb bombs (380 damage each), and 6x500lb bombs (220 damage each).  Respectable, but not exactly impressive compared to what some other CVs are doing (especially her sister Essex). 2) Subsequent testing of Reno has

Airspace Control Guide

Airspace Control: Understanding your new frenemy Written by www.twitch.tv/mrglrglrglrgl (discord Mrglrgl#1126).  All formulas taken from the EN wiki .   The average player after attempting ch13 for the first time. EN now has the Airspace Control mechanic (ASC for short), and - as per usual for plane-related mechanics - the ingame details do not properly explain it.  Understanding this mechanic is crucial for ch13, and may be for future content as well, so I have decided to take the time to write a detailed guide about it. By the time you are finished reading this, you will have full understanding of Airspace Control, and also be able to calculate your ASC Tier for any map. The Fundamentals Airspace Control has four components: Fleet ASC, Modified Map ASC, Final ASC, and ASC Tier. Fleet ASC Each ship has its own ASC value, calculated from its number of planes and AVI.  Each type of plane has different contribution weight, with fighters being the highest (at 10)
